Bio of the Founder
Welcome to the Aevus Group. We are looking forward to being your partner and advocate.
Abbey Dykhouse, LCSW, MSW
Elder Care Manager
Hi, I’m Abbey, and I have been an advocate for empowering older adults in the Bay Area for over 10 years. When I recognized a need for how aging is viewed in our society, I turned my passion for elder advocacy into a career.
I’ve worked for two non-profit companies in the Bay Area to thread together resources and agencies to create a more expansive system that provides wrap-around care. From 2015-2017, I worked closely with the World Health Organization to create a more comprehensive blueprint for age-friendly cities.
As a Social Worker, I believe knowledge is power and will help tailor a care plan for you, a loved one, or your family to lay out all your options. I also have experience working with end-stage patients. I’m an expert in providing resources and assisting families to address specific needs. You can reach me at [email protected].
